I have been designing gardens in Auckland for 15 years and still enjoy the challenge of creating beautiful gardens that clients love. There is a strong sense of satisfaction in the before and after. Someone once asked me what type of gardens I design and my answer was "that depends on my client and the site". For me the fun and challenge of designing gardens is to not be restricted by a set style and to keep my ego firmly out of the equation. There is no doubt I have favourite plants, but again the site and/or clients dreams and needs will dictate what is going to work. I completed the Diploma in Landscape Design form Unitec and have been gardening for 40 years, developing extensive plant knowledge in that time. My passion is redesigning existing gardens and transforming them not only into something beautiful, but creating spaces that enhance family enjoyment and activities.
