This resort-style garden and swimming pool was built in 2013 to complement a magnificent new home on a very tight site overlooking the Hauraki Gulf. The design is a clever response to the restricted space and features a large, contemporary, designed pool and spa incorporating moats, floating stepping stones and a glass edge. Enclosed spaces have been created using hedging and evergreen trees to create private areas in a very exposed site. Flower-filled garden beds include Gordonia ‘Moonlight Magic’, hydrangeas, Camellia ‘Mini-no-yuki’, day lilies, osmanthus and plumbago.
