Starting Garden & Wristbands
You can start your Garden DesignFest experience at ANY of the gardens from 10am - both days of the event (see the GARDENS tab for a list of all gardens and addresses). Gardens are open to ticket holders from 10am - 4pm each day. Please respect these hours.

At the first garden you visit, simply hand over your ticket and you will receive a WRISTBAND. Once you have your wristband on your wrist simply show it to the volunteers at the garden gate and you can enter any and all gardens.

Don’t have a ticket? You can purchase an ALL GARDEN ticket from any garden and get a wristband OR pay $10 to visit any single garden. Enjoy!

Safety Note:
While every precaution has been taken, please note that it is a condition of entry to the gardens that you assume all responsibility for your own safety, the safety of those in your care, and of your possessions. If you are an overseas traveller visiting our gardens, please ensure you have sufficient travel insurance cover in case of an accident.

All Weather Event:

This is an all-weather event on private properties, so there are no rain dates. Please dress to accommodate all types of weather. Gardens are also beautiful in the rain. In past years when it has rained, the weather is only apparent in photos through the colourful addition of umbrellas above each visitor.

Ticket Refund Policy:

There are no exchanges or refunds on tickets except where required by law. If you are unable to attend our event please try and gift your ticket. We thank you for supporting our worthy charities.

Event Food & Drink:

Fresh barista made Atomic coffee will be available for sale at the official festival market at Edendale Primary School in Sandringham (Garden 10). Pair it with a sweet treat from their bake sale and check out the other items for sale at the market including tea towels, aprons, fresh produce, seedlings and plants.

Galbraith's Alehouse in Mt Eden (Garden 15) is open all weekend and Keith and his team have created a seasonal 'In the Garden' menu and are offering 20% off all meals for festival goers.

Complimentary Dilmah tea and Jacks coffee avalable all weekend in Garden 21, Dawson & Co, Parnell. Garden visitors are invited to meet at Dawson & Co between 3-5pm on Saturday 23rd November for a complimentary Malfy Gin and tonic courtesy of Pernod Ricard.
