Paul moved from Ireland to New Zealand in 2011 and has a passion for landscape design; an industry that merges creativity with the environment.  He is the Senior Landscape Architect for Mace Landscape Group – one of the biggest landscape firms in Auckland and a reputable front-runner within the landscaping industry. 

Working on both residential and commercial landscape designs, Paul loves the everyday challenges of the design industry and has been managing designs with Mace Landscapes going on ten years.

His designs are regularly recognised with Gold & Silver standards at the biennial ‘Landscapes of Distinctions Awards’ and have appeared in publications like the NZ House & Garden magazine. Paul has also twice been the landscape presenter at the Auckland Home Show. 

Speaking of involvement in the Auckland Garden DesignFest 2024, Paul comments: “I’m delighted that another designed & built garden by Mace Landscapes will be part of this year’s event – a real honour.  This biennial charity event, organised by the Garden Design Society NZ, is such a wonderful showcase for NZ gardens that will be open to public viewing.”
